Miniature Schnauzers come in a variety of colors. There are the
standard colors of Salt/Pepper, Black and Black/Silver. Then there
are the special colors. All of these colors are AKC registerable,
although you do have to prove the colors with pictures. These
colors include all of the above, but with parti markings. There is
also white and liver. These colors have been in the breed since it
was first produced.

Important Information for AKC Registration of Rare Colors
When registering your puppy with AKC it is necessary to include two photos with you puppy's AKC registration paper
work. The photos must be full front view as well as a side view of your puppy. All variations of the Liver Color (Liver,
Liver Tan, Liver Pepper), all Parti Colors as well as White and Wheaten must include photos with the AKC paper work.
You will need to be sure to label the back of each photo with the litter registration number, date of birth and the name
you are registering the puppy in.
** You must address the envelope to AKC and mark it with: "ATTN: Special Services" in order for your paperwork to be
processed more quickly.**

Miniature Schnauzers are between 12 - 20 pounds Toy Schnauzers are between 6 - 10 pounds Teacup Schnauzers are anything under 6 pounds
